These images do not yet have alternative text UNLESS there is text within the image. The descriptions alongside the images are quite lengthy though and provide a lot of the context the image does, and more. What I'm trying to say, is that even though it's a gallery, it's more of a collection of stories than a purely visual thing.

What is Everett with Animals?

I really enjoy saying hi to all the different critters I meet on the street (with permission), and I'm just now realising that the miscellaneous activities section of ev-tivities is literally a blog... So, this is a photo gallery and Everett catalogues the different interactions kind of place :). Hope you enjoy!

Side-note, usually it's dogs and while they're becoming my favourite, I also feel especially special when a cat does choose to approach me (because wheelchair). I've drawn over my face because even if I am super identifiable, it doesn't mean I want to create a Gallery of my face all over it. Mostly the principle of it, but I'm sure there's some other reason that's a good thing? I think?

On the day of the 2026 Edinburgh Pride March, I decided to go Hotpot with the lesbian ever. Happy Hotpot MY GOAT. PLEASE GO THERE. IT'S A BARGAIN. FAMILY BUSINESS. Anyways.

As I was heading to get Bubble Tea (love Fun Tea, love you guys), this fabulous man had two ferrets literally rag-dolled at his feet. We stopped, and he deposited them in my lap. I love him. THEIR NAMES ARE 'GOOD' AND 'BAD'.

I love them. I also love the dog. I bought a piano and a guitar from this place, and I don't regret any of it. Insane that the piano prices start at £400/450 (?). INSANE. AND THE PIANOS SOUND AMAZING.

Text says 'Vintage Strings - 77 Perth Rd, Dundee'. 2nd hand, repairs, free sheet music - awesome family business!! :)'. An arrow is pointing to the dog, and text says 'dog/10'.

Cake or Dice... the first time I stayed there properly, I ended up lagging behind until closing, and then I proceeded to do that for the next week. It's a really nice place, really nice atmosphere. Healing, even. And good dogs!

Text says 'I keep staying way longer than I mean to. This time because dog.' An arrow points to a pile of hair on a green iPad, saying 'so much hair', and a circle around drool, saying 'drool'.

All my plant children are from the Botanist and the Bee :) And all the plants have been very happy and pest-free >:)

'Botanist & the Bee', an arrow pointing to the dog saying 'plant dog plant dog'. In the background are plants that have the words 'yippee!', 'yay!', 'yay!', 'wahoo!', 'yay!'.

I have so many, so so many good memories at this household. I love rats and how wriggly they are. I can't say I love that they pee when happy, but everyone is entitled to their own freedom of expression. I guess.

The word 'rat' written repeatedly in the background in all caps, in red.

I love her :) She's so stinky though. I'm so used to sleeping beside someone now that I really struggle to fall asleep on my own. So I did try allowing her to sleep at the other side of the bed. Unfortunately, I thrash about too much and mumble, and scream, and yell (according to outside sources). And dog was NOT having that. So when I woke up, she was sleeping on the floor. Sad.

The dog has a drawn speech bubble above its head with a question mark inside it.

Probably the oldest photo I currently have to hand of 'Everett with dog'. I love Dog Lola. Truly the most soul of a tired, sleepless secretary inside a dog. I really need to find the photos I have of me with my guinea pigs, but that was when I was YOUNG.

Everett and the black poodle are surrounded by text on a red overlay that reads 'I didn't used to be as (underlined) big of a fan of dogs in the past but...'. There is the dates from 2020-2023 repeatedly written all around them with question marks.
