There's A Lot to Talk About when it comes to Apples
So, some context. Since I started convincing myself that I should eat the entire apple whole, I've started taking bigger and bigger bites of apples. I also mainly chew with my front teeth (1st incisor to 1st premolar). I realised this when I got my snakebites pierces, and I was like oh my god. I chew and store food in the front of my mouth. I mostly use my back teeth to grip and tear.
I went to the GP for unrelated things but did bring up that I was having really bad heartburn in the morning after breakfast. I chew my food but probably not that much. Not really making them into small enough pieces with my front teeth. It doesn't really change how much I chew when the size of the things changes. I just kind of swallow when I'm ready and scrape my throat with food if I must.
Yeah, so anyways I was chewing so little and biting so much apple at a time that I would finish big apples in like three bites. This was problematic enough it was giving me serious heartburn to the extent that I would no longer feel able to eat breakast.
So, I decided to see how big of a bite I could take out of an apple at one time. I've phrased this in a specific way to mislead you into thinking that I actually planned the first time this happened.

I feel quite good about this first, real, concentrated attempt to take the biggest bite I could. I have a small mouth, this is known about me. I really had to almost use my teeth as a saw and rotated the apple in my mouth a bit. It kinda hurt. But! this looks impressive. If you can be responsible, why not tell me what the biggest bite of an apple you can take is and show proof.
I was with my partner, and I know I can sometimes eat fruit kind of funny (see: my two methods of eating tangerines). So, if nothing else, quite good entertainment value. It did feel a bit frightening because I have TMD (my jaw is really tight and clicks out of place sometimes). If I had trie to do this quicker I think maybe it would've been dangerous. So, bite responsibly!
